'Pakistan has one of the biggest talent pools for MMA in the world'

My personally opinion is that Pakistan in the past has lacked legitimate qualified martial artists, boxing coaches or wrestlers in various fighting styles that could teach the public. The interest has always been there but there have never been any real provisions for combat sports in Pakistan until PAK MMA came onto the scene. Kabadi and kushti are both dying arts in Pakistan due to lack of funding. India however has a South Indian martial art (name to long to write) and the Sikh art of Gatka.

We had the annual kabaddi tournament which was followed by everybody in East Punjab. Doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon again.

Most Pakistani and Indian genes are not good for fitness/body building compared to African and White genes. We have to train double hard to get the same results :(
Where did u get that.. Indian maybe weak but Pakistanies are strong build. U name any region of pak u get talk strong guys in every family and they are in majority.

It's more to do with participation in sport. South Asians in general do not venture in other sports except Cricket. There maybe the odd individual from Indianor Pakistan that may participate in athletics or other regular sports such as football Rugby or boxing but still there isn't a large majority of South Asians in national / international sporting events compared to Africans Europeans South Americans or Far East Asians. Regarding the issue of poor genes or weak stamina is not correct. During the Second World War the British hired Punjabi Muslims, Pashtuns, Balochis, Sikhs and Nepali Gurkhas to fight on the front lines. South Asians had proved to be battle hardened committed soldiers.

My personal opinion about most of the indians is that they don't want to participate in contact sports. They are more likely to play some physically less demanding sports like cricket than wrestling,MMA, or boxing.
Not being offensive to most indians , i find only two regions of india where teenagers participate in contact sports.
North east India and North India.
Kerala being an exception in only martial arts.
For example when i went to the gym in haryana, all of the guys use to train for getting stronger, which means lifting heavy and eating lots of dry fruits, ghee and milk as Haryanvis are vegetarian.
When i went to gym of mumbai, all the guys just want to get ripped ..they dont want strength, they just do low weight- high repetition workout for muscle definition..its funny when they advise me to eat meat to get strong, as i already deadlift, squat and bench press thrice as much as they do..
These three exercise define strength, hence known as compound exercises.

You'll find a similar situation across Pakistan with young men attending the gym regularly to increase their muscles and fitness. There are only a small number of qualified martial arts training centres established some in cities.

The Sikhs participate and uphold the Punjabi tradition of wrestling, kabadi and thier religious swordsmanship of Gatka. Probably the only community in India that enjoy combat sports. I use to watch Gatka championships on tv.

Your definition of South Asians is highly inaccurate. Just like the British you want to lump certain groups of people who are completely different to one another into 1 unrealistic entity.

So this equals South Asia does it? Less than 10% defining the other 90%?

Very odd !

I don't know if you know but the other so called South Asians include Zulus, Somalians, Aborigines, Ethiopians, Germans, Brazilians, Italians & Greeks :disagree:

Not in the slightest. The fact your population is at least 7x bigger than Pakistan's means that you have at least a 7x larger talent pool to choose from. So from a mathematical & scientific point of view YOU SHOULD ALWAYS be many more times successful than Pakistan AT ALL SPORTS. The fact that head to head, traditionally Pakistan has always done better at cricket and hockey than india, is a near impossible task that we have managed to achieve. Which says a lot about the Pakistani race.

Thank you so much for that bro. I really appreciate you saying that. I like reading your posts and analysis. You are very honest, factual & make the most sense on PDF.

YOU have to be straight to the point, factual and honest with these guys otherwise they try to make their delusional indian bollywood fantasies come across as facts.

90% Indians are harijans, it's only 10% who are capable to do things like this.

looks like I've rattled your cage once again. Very emotional. I'd hate to meet you in real life.

Ok for your sake 90% of South Asians including Pakistanis have weak genes and cannot be compete with other races on earth. Does that statement fit well with you?

@PAKISTANFOREVER We must never overlook the fact that only the extreme North West India shares common heritage with Pakistan. We can't deny this - only religion is the division. However this is less than 3-4% of India and if you want to reallty be kind say 5%. That means Pakistan is dissimilar to 95% of India.

I get into lot of flak for this but frankly I don't care I am going to say what I feel. I don't see any similarity between my people with Indian Bengali, Orrssan, Assamese, Telagu, Tamil, Kannada, Malaylam Keralites, Maratta, Bihari, Gujrati, and others too many to enumerate. I don't care what religion they are - for me they are Gangas. Period. I am not saying they are inferior - I am saying they are nothing to do with me.

In Pakistan my only brothers are Punjabi, Baloch, Kashmiri and Sindhi. That is my Pakistan exactly the way Sir Allama Iqbal envisioned.

"Personally, I would like to see the Punjab, North-West Frontier Province, Sindh and Baluchistan amalgamated into a single State".

and Rehmat Ali placed thre meat on the bones by asking for in his pamphlet "Now or Never".

"Punjab, North-West Frontier Province (Afghan Province), Kashmir, Sind and Baluchistan".

I am sick of Indian's making it look like Pakistan is just a sanctuary for Indian Muslim's. There are nearly 180 million Bihari, Assamese, Tamil etc Muslims in India - The Indian's look at Pakistan as just a extention of these. I refuse to accept that. Further the Indian's use the Indian Punjabi's and 'Haryanvis' who are just another subset of Punjabi's as the 'face' of India and proof that India is same as Pakistan. Which again is lie. It's like Nigerians using the Black American's as proof that USA is like Africa.

I am soon taking a break from this forum but rest assured if Pakistan is not defined as differant from India and moves away from acting like a sanctuary for Indian Muslims that will cause in the long term a question. Which way? West or East. The western provinces of Pakistan look West and if the others pull toward India the inevitable fracture will happen along the faultline.

Rattled? Having a differant opinion then yours or not following the sheep makes me emotional? Strange outlook of life you have !

Lot of muhajirs are from UP and Bihar :D .
