Pakistan court orders ruling on Muslim NGO Jamaat-ud-Dawa's illegal shariah courts

If that's your argument, why even have private courts? Why not just increase the number of courts in the current system?

Your argument is flawed.

Private registered courts will be anywhere and anytime. In your street and next crossing, in the morning and evening. This flexibility isn't available in govt courts.

If you're talking about establishing courts in buildings everywhere, they'd be too insecure.

Either that or street judges...have you been watching judge dredd lately? That's not how real court systems should function. Where would the court proceedings take place? How would evidence be handled? Where would the witness stand be? Who would secure the court?

There is a reason why justice takes a long time, it is due to establishing facts first. There is no such thing as "swift justice", that's a myth used by those that simply want revenge.

Private courts are bad, and there is a reason why no one has tried it to the fullest extent. There is simply too much room for corruption and incompetence. At least with the government, there are watch dogs and human rights groups in place to pressure the courts into making the right decision; Private courts would be answerable to no one.
