Quite the opposite. India is not increasing its stockpile of nuclear weapons but investing more in conventional ones. Seem quite opposite of what you are saying. They believe that Nuclear bluff of Pakistan is ineffective. They don't seem to believe that nuclear weapon are much of an issue, otherwise they would themself have been stockpiling it at a much faster pace. After all, India has a much larger stockpile of plutonium and uranium to support much bigger number of warheads.

Pakistan's weapons go up to the 600kt range, who told you that they were at the 45kt level? I posted a detailed analysis of Pakistan's weapons by a respected Canadian physicist who has written dozens of research papers on the subject and related fields, he also confirmed the lethality of Pakistan's weapons, way beyond the whole 'oh part of a city will be destroyed'.

Be mindful that these 100 bombs are several hundred kilotonnes and megatonne large bomb. Pakistan has 45 kt bomb. By comparison one US W-88 is 450 kt.
