If by 2050 Pakistan has 1000 warheads of one megaton yield each; striking that many targets on each side would do so much damage that nuclear winter would get the rest of the population, and take the whole world with it.

Honestly I hope these weapons are never used, but the inability to resolving disputes between the two countries have created this Sword of Damocles that hangs over our region. In the West, Indians and Pakistanis are friends. They show mutual respect and treat each other as equals. If we can find peace in our region, spending resources by both sides can be used to develop the lives of our growing populations.

1000 warheads isn't enough for a nuclear winter though. Try at least 10,000 warheads of the 15 megatons range.
