Possible Negative propaganda against Pakistan’s atomic program, create unstable situation in different parts of country, use different types of think tanks to pressurize Pakistan. Use of puppet politition’s remarks against Pakistan’s internal politics (like Musharraf’s latest statement about Pakistan, Kashmir & A.Q Khan).

It will re-open within a week - I'm willing to take bets. Once army realizes its not going to get anymore shiny toys as EID present from the US military or that the Politicians checks won't cash, you'll soon see some action.

What is however fascinating is that ordinary pakistanis are actually starting to wake up and realize the game the US is playing. I was watching on the news where ordinary pakistanis were saying they would quite happily torch these convoys as their land was being used to sustain an occupation next door in Afghanistan.

Seems like some people have realized that they don't want their soil to be used in such a way as USA might not be there tomorrow, but Afghanistan will always be there.

If my hunch is true, then despite seeing the re-opening of the border by spineless politicians we are STILL going to see these tankers light up the night sky for many weeks to come, and it won't be by "terrorists".

Interesting to not is the fact that no statement form Kar"g"ai Govt has been issued.
Surely the route will reopen but It will likely have the desired effects in future, namely , no more incursions. As for drones, I guess they are based on mutual
understanding and will continue.
