Pakistan has trumped Brahmos...with CM-400.
Trumped GAGAN with Beidou...
Will find a much cheaper and effective solution for this new challenge..
Pakistan always does....
Indian chest thumping is always short lived.

For that your country needs to build something comparable.

For this Junk We don't have to come up with anything ... its gonna fall itself anyway :bunny:

(RUDRA) is very small task for Pakistan,World must be laughing on this heavy weight so called copter. It can only be used as a small transport Bus..................I have never seen this ugly copter .its a shame for India............ANza 1 would be enough to down (RUDRA).

Brilliant...:yahoo:

We have a future candidate for think tank position on PDF

Sir u must Apply for a Post in GHQ ...so that u could share this brilliant insight with with Military planner

India shld Abandon Rudra Project immediately..And Also Cancel Apache purchase kyun ki PAkistan ne ANza Kareed liya :cry::cry:

Its good local consumption news and a good step for India, but hardly a game changer in a war time scenario with a population of 200+million people. The cost effective answer to low flying objects has been implemented since 1999 and that too in the many thousands. A offensive move is usually first countered by a defensive one rather than going toe to toe with another offensive helicopter.

The point here is that with the helicopter developments (and some others in recent times) Pakistan has been firmly put in a defensive corner. It will be really hard for PA to run any offensive operation like 1965 or Kargil. Which actually is good in a way. India is a status quo power. And if Pakistan's strategy becomes defensive in its approach then we can all live happily ever after.

RUDRA is a small (Indian Putra). Yea its not a dream, its a joke of Putra.

I doubt thats how you stop something like Kargil or any other offensive. Offensive weapons mean that you can take the fight to the enemy, not protect yourself against an offensive. Regarding the status quo power .. I would also feel good about building a helicopter.

Its very difficult to catch a helo on the radar of a SAM system unless it is flying very high. Helos can fly along the ground avoiding radar detection using the topography. Thats what sealed the fate of Osama Bin Laden !!!

The choppers that the SEALS used were low radar observable, there is no equivalent to that anywhere in the world. Indeed, Halos can fly low and avoid radars of an enemy who is not looking for them. But in our part of the world considering how dense the fighting environment is; PAF deploying tactical area radars on practically every spot, AWACS having the ability to look deep inside, and thousands of mobile observation posts, it is next to impossible to get through the border without getting detected.

On topic, i am more concerned about those Longbows compared to these light helicopters. All of those people whom are suggesting that Pakistan should counter these choppers by buying more choppers are just plain dumb. Pakistan's low altitude SAM coverage is extremely potent, might i dare even say deadly, its only high altitude SAM coverage that needs further beefing up. To conclude it, Mr. Storm Force has created a thread to project a threat which simply does not exist :).

Some one trying to compare a cruise missile with Chinese unknown/unproven missile??

Gagan built by India and Beidou is Chinese so where pakistan came into scenario ?? They just allowed it to use and war scenario you cant trust any one. Ohh sorry you dnt have your own.

And for Rudra or LCH ... You can only dream to make it by own.
