Pakistan bans Indian films from being screened in country

We don't like your Aman ki aasha films like bajrangi bhaijan not interested in Aman ki aasha

That's sad.

Like one of the Pakistani members of this forum has as his profile-pic, the sentiment should be "Make chai, not war".

. .
Wasn't it banned since February ?

No, Urdu is still distinct from Hindi.

Its the representation of their culture is what matters.
Pure Urdu is a joy to hear. When i hear pakistanis in India speak it , its awesome. Maybe its becoz we dont hear it much regularly and not the pure one.

India should get out of Kashmir than we would think about chai
I have watched your favorite film and films can't improve relations of countries
Pakistanis listen Indian songs watch your films because we can understand language of your films we can't understand English that's why Hollywood films are not popular

.
The government can ban it, but you know how the internet works. If people want to watch it, they will watch it.

Also becoz people can relate to our films and culture in Indian subcontinent. Its hard to relate to spiderman and robots and stories on slavery or homophobia.

Bollywood has been a huge soft power for us. Russia,China, Afghanistan, Central Asia and the Indian Subcontinent has huge number of people that enjoy it.

It's not about relating but is due to language when someone can't even understand what is being said then why would he watch

Pakistanis will not stop watching Indian trash. Hypocrisy is strong with us as a nation.
Cable operators will keep airing Indian channels they will just cover up the channels logo this is what they do every time government bans Indian content.

That should be the next step to implement, to ban all indian cable channels from Pakistani Cable Networks. This should be followed by Signal Block/Spoof of all Satellite frequencies of Indian tv channels.

Starve them till they can't breath, and detox Pakistan off of indian filth

.
We should promote highly persianized and arabized form of Urdu so that gangus struggle to get anything out of Urdu content on our media.
Or Urdu with lot of words from local languages like Balochi seraiki etc like Imran Khan introduced a word for family from Punjabi tabbar

That would be even better.

Yes after all cable operators are also getting those channels on their dish antennas from satellites in space sending signals at "particular frequencies", so if Pakistani Space agency just blocks those frequencies in the spectrum then no satellite signals of Indian channels will be coming to pakistani cable operators, no matter how much they wine about it.

Absolutely agree, the sanskrit creep in Hindi has also affected Urdu here..

SAPNA for example is purely Hindi.. khwab is the original term inherited to Urduz

You can be certain that most of these jingoists on the internet have watched every bollywood blockbuster released in the last ten years. I'm always surprised how people like these are so much better at understanding Hindi than I am.
