likewise NEPRA is providing Electricity to industrial, commercial and domestic consumers in pakistan ranging from more than 4-5 million.

if Gawader protection tax(GPT) or any name given is taken from the people of pakistan they will not bother about it.hence we will have huge money for our defence purchases or just for R & D

Petrol consumption per day in Pakistan is 437k barrel per day till 2013. 1 US barrel corresponds to

158.9873 liters


2.5 Million * 100(GPT in Ruppee) = 250 Million Rupees =25 million US $
5 million * 150(GPT in Ruppee) = 750 Million Rupees =75 Million $
437k * 30(days)=13310k barrel/month * 159(liter/barrel)=2084490k liters/month=2084490000 liters
now
2084490000 * 5(GPT in Ruppee) = 10422450000 rupees =100.4 million $

Also there are alot of ways army should get direct benefit from them like collecting share of revenue generated gawadar.

Politicians and system in pakistan is so corrupt.Army didnt get its share which it should have.

Budget for armed forces = 8 Billion US$ approx
Budget goes for pension = 2.3 Billion US $ approx (1.74 Billion for Armed + 0.56 Billion US $ for civilians)
Budget for Development funds = 10 Billion US $
BUdget for debt financing = 12 Billion US $
Misc = 2 billion US $

No, just no. PA is already overfunded for an economy the size of Pakistan, and it already has massive economic influence due to PA owned and operated corporations, plus it takes up a 5th of the total budget every year.

PA doesn't need more money, it needs better financial management. $7 billion base amount (on official budget), plus another $8 billion that the army usually gets quietly (pays pensions, R&D, new acquisitions), it's already well funded for an economy the size of Pakistan.

You want PA's total funds to go up? Then support Pakistan's economy. The stronger the economy, the better funded the army will be.

[Edit]: An economy that is similar in size (actually slightly better) with a similar population and national budget is Nigeria, and their annual budget is around 2 billion on budget, plus another 3-4 billion off the table, which is $5-6 billion every year.

Basically

Pakistan = $7-15 billion
Nigeria = $2-6 billion

Why is Nigeria's budget so low? Keep in mind, they're also facing an insurgency the size of Pakistan. The reason is that they know they cannot afford to continue to pump money into the military, and have to prioritize their national development.

While Pakistan's current large budget is probably temporary, due to war, and will likely go down, it is difficult to sustain even at $7 billion.

[Edit 2]: thankfully for you, Pakistan's economy is set to increase rapidly, so by 2050, it's budget could very well be $20 billion+, at a lower GDP ration.
