PAF Pays Tribute to Father of the Nation on his 76th Death Anniversary On September 11, 2024, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) joined the nation in commemorating the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder and first Governor-General of Pakistan.
The day began with a special ceremony at the PAF Headquarters in Islamabad, where the Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu laid a wreath at the portrait of the Quaid. This was followed by a guard of honor presented by a smartly turned-out contingent of PAF personnel.In his address, the Air Chief emphasized the enduring relevance of Jinnah's vision for Pakistan. He highlighted the Quaid's unwavering commitment to unity, faith, and discipline - principles that continue to guide the PAF in its mission to safeguard Pakistan's aerial frontiers.
Throughout PAF bases across the country, similar ceremonies were held to pay homage to the Father of the Nation. Officers and airmen participated in special prayer sessions for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.The PAF also organized a series of lectures and seminars focusing on Jinnah's life, his struggle for Pakistan, and his vision for the country's armed forces.
These events aimed to inspire the younger generation of PAF personnel with the Quaid's ideals of integrity, dedication, and professionalism.As part of the commemoration, the PAF Museum in Karachi opened a special exhibition showcasing rare photographs and personal items of Quaid-e-Azam.
This exhibit offered visitors a glimpse into the life of the man who shaped the destiny of millions.The day served as a poignant reminder of the PAF's commitment to upholding the legacy of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and its dedication to serving and protecting Pakistan. It reinforced the air force's resolve to continue striving for excellence in line with the Quaid's vision for a strong and prosperous nation.
