Pak govt. to spread Sufism to replace extremism

Do they know sufism is even harder than following the path of Shariat? What they know about sufism? Can they follow the path of Nizam ud Din Aulia, or Boo Ali Qalandar, or Data Ganj Bukhsh or Moulana Romi? Have they read Masnavi e Ma'Navi? or Kashaf ul Mahjoob? These folks dont even know the 'S'of 'Sufism'.

Well you are right...Most of the people now think SUFISM as a 'BOB MARLEY' version of ISLAM, where you experience spirit through hashish & dancing
KASH-ul MAHJOOB & MASNAVI.....I can guess if they read it they might evaluate MAULANA RUMI & HAZRAT ALI HAJVERY as 'EXTERMISTS, FUDAMENTALISTS etc

One couplet from Romi's Muthnavi, to show how these great sufi personalities saw education and knowledge, and how they defined the aim of knowledge:

Ilm ra ber mun zani yaare bood
Ilm ra ber tun zani maare bood

Meanings: If knowledge or education is gained for fullfiling sipritaul needs then its your friend but if it is gained only for material or wordly needs then its a piosonous snake.

So when the masses are educated for making them a complete human being then education can fullfil all of a person's needs from body to soul. Hence, no need of any official sufism.

The sufism can only be fruitful for a scocienty when it is spread for Allah's sake not for helping some government in power. It will be nothing but "political sufism" just like "political Jihad".
