Islamabad 03 October,2015:A Joint Air exercise Shaheen IV between Pakistan Air force and PLA Air force, concluded today at Yinchuan Airbase, China. Air Vice Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Pakistan Air Force and Lt Gen Zheng Qun Liang Deputy Commander PLA Air Force were also present in the closing ceremony of the exercise. The exercise was aimed at enhancing bilateral relationship and defence cooperation between both friendly neighbouring countries. It was the fourth exercise of Shaheen series which commenced on 12 Sep, 2015. It was for the first time that three different types of front line fighter aircraft from various Squadrons of PAF participated in the exercise.

How sure are you this was not a flyby with F-15 instead of a proper exercise maneuver ? No-one trains with someone without proper notification all over the world. JF-17 was there to do flying display and I dont know how it was evovled from being just a aerial display and flyby with F-15 to a aerial maneuvers with F-15's.

In most cases, a flyby is usualy done at the conclusion of an exercise by the participants.... it's also a photo shoot opportunity for both as a memorabilia and public release, some also thought it was just a fly by when images of our F-7s appeared flying along with the F-22. On the contrary no official images of JF-17 flying with F-15 have been released.
Since you admit that the JF-17 wasn't there to participate in any exercise, rather it was there to perform in aerial display,....well the word is that Saudis wanted to see it's capabilities vis-a-vis their front line fighter.

Not much has been released about shaheen IV

It was Shaheen-V sir, apparently it was at the behest of the Chinese to keep all under cover.
