as per my knowledge I may short list the "Combat Aircrafts" as below, as expected by 2015:

for Pakistan:

46 - F-16 Block 52 (upgraded) - Multirole Fighter.
18 – F-16 Block 52 (new) - Multirole Fighter.
36 - J-10B - Advanced Multirole & Air Superiority. (J10B or just J10? even China hasn't got J10b yet? will J10B would even come in production by 2015 and if yes then will it be Pakistan first or China first? )

150 - JF-17 - Multirole Fighter. (I would say 100 to 120 only as I dont think Pakistan would waste too much on an interceptor. also, Jf17 isn't of even block 1 standard? while we think PAF would be more willing to take some time and have JF17 block2? don't expect more than 100 JF17 of the current standard )

Total: 46+18+36+100= 200 (less crashes)

rest of the aircrafts would either be kicked from PAF or will be about to be, as since then only JF17s will work as interceptors, with front line role of F16s/J10s


about Combat Aircrafts of IAF, I would say it as below:

270 – Su-30 MKI - Multirole fighter. (total with current contracts)
68 – Mig-29 SMT (upgraded) - Air superiority fighter. (its 68 right now)
49 – Mirage 2000-5 (upgraded) - Multirole fighter. (2 of them gone till now)
110 – Jaguar IS (upgraded) - fighter bomber & Maritime air support. (its 110+ if i remember
130 – Mig-27L (upgraded) - Ground attack & Maritime air support. (its 130)
108 – Mig-21 Bison (upgraded) – Interceptor. (they would keep it as it has BVR missiles i think)
LCA - 40 (mack1 standard only)

Total = 270+68+49+40=427 (4th gen less crashes)
Total=110+130+108=348 (3rd gen less crashes)
with around 45+45=90 Mig29k for Navy also

as I also think that delivery of Rafale won't start till 2015 as IAF will negotiate heavy for Rafale F4 type at least. and it will be the time when LCA mach2 would come in production........

all these are as per my knowledge only. I kicked Pakistan's 2nd/2.5nd gens as first they will have got enough JF17 for interceptor roles (100+) and second, I dont think they may bear expanse for too many aircrafts from 2015 onwards, as per their curent economic woes, with expanse for proposed buying for JF17 blk2 and J10B in second half of this decade....

a lot of wrong data and few over optimistic data on Pakistan.In 2015,Pakistan willn't have 150 JF-17 or 36 J-10B(deal yet to take place).same goes for new F-16s.

In Indian part,Mirage-2000 will be Mirage-2000-5-9(upgraded Mirage 2000-5).
you left Rafale(though we hope only few we'll get by 2015).
you completely left Mi-17s figure..also you left new Mi-17s that India bought few years back and India gradually inducting them.
C-130 figure is wrong and hell,where is C-17s???
HJT-16 and HJT-32 will be retired.where is HJT-36??
you completely forgot Rudra and LAH..Dhruv figure is wrong.Mig-21 will be retired in a large number by then.
