PA Engineering Corps-query

Hello there....ths is the first time im starting a topic or for tht matter posting sumthng on the forums...nt a new member tho ....

so my question is tht i was thinking abt joining the engineering corp of the PA and i wanted to kno if the selection procedure for graduate engineers is different from normal candidates and r they given some preference....also wats the current role of the engineering corp in the current war against the talibans....given tht the conflict is based mostly on the unconventional guerrilla tactics.....and the last question being wats the minimum number of years tht ill have to serve in the army in case i get selected?....

Currently im doing my bachelors in Mechanical Engg(3rd yr) frm giki....

As far as I know, you can't join the Engineering Corps if you get educated from somewhere else other then NUST governed College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Rawalpindi.

You can try for the Defence related research & production organizations after you have completed your degree, meaning NESCOM kind of stuff.
