I think we have racism all over Pakistan. One of the most racist people I've met are Lahoris. They some how think they are superior and believe they rule Pakistan. Racist jokes are just a start.

I think the minority people at times vote for parties like MQM to protect themselves. What choice do they have? You have parties like ppp, anp and pml n to choose from. Obviously urdu speaking people will vote for mqm. Every party uses the race card, blackmail etc.

Pti won in Karachi because the Pakistan military and agencies finished of the mqm. But hilarious how people are claiming somehow pti won it on it's own. We have very bias people, people who fall for propaganda.

Bro ground reality was way different back then. Only 1 to 2% people voted in favor of mqm who were basically beneficiary of Govt. jobs etc. Otherwise majority was fed up and never appeared to vote for anyone during elections. They knew thapa mafia will either force them to vote for mqm or they will fill balot boxes with fake votes. Here people of Karachi that includes me are innocent and establishment is directly responsible for supporting them. When people were allowed to vote in a violence free environment, people voted for PTI.

Lahoris are not racist.I have spent quite a good amount of time there.
People from other parts of Pak take their jokes seriously.
