1. Jf17 vs LCA
Its game changer and we are ignoring it like we ignored the AMRAMs

Rafale is different beast but jf17 is credible plaeform
LCA is 10 yrs late
2. LCA mk1 was forced upon the airforce, IAF compromised upon its requirement
3. Indians ships dont have equipment /weapons
4. Lenoardo group has been black listed(thank you india keeps an avenue for pakistan open)
5. Black shark torpedos aint coming either
My take
LCA should have been scrapped in 2010 and gripen NG liscenec produced
Now HAL is trying to copy gripen..i hope it works but i will be astonished if u can build an aircraft from scratch in 10 yrs
It has never been done
Tejas mk1/1a will have several maintainence issues and is very expensive (more expensive then su30)
Its engine and radar it self is more expensive then jf17
