India is the world's 6th largest Military spender and is armed with the World's fastest growing economy. It is estimated that within the next decade India will surpass all EU countries to become the world's third largest defence spender globally.

India currently has multiple military bases spread across the Indian sub-continent and the Indian Ocean region. Here is a list of 10 International Indian Military Bases.

1. Madagascar ::
A listening post of the Indian Navy started operations around 2007. The monitoring station provides India with Electronic Eyes and Ears in the south-western Indian Ocean.
Located in Northern Madagascar, it is linked with similar facilities in Kochi & Mumbai. It is helpful for gathering intelligence on the operations of Foreign Navies in the region.

2. Mozambique ::
The Indian navy took charge of Mozambique's Sea Security during the African Union Summit of 2003. It regularly patrols the waters around Mozambique to keep piracy in check.

3. Seychelles ::
Seychelles sorted Indian Navy's help for anti-piracy operations in its waters and the Indian Navy proudly patrols its Exclusive Economic Zone.

4. Oman ::
India has setup a naval air base in Muscat, Oman. The Navy also maintains berthing rights in the port of Oman.

5. Qatar ::
Under the historic Defence Co-operation Pact of 2008, India has committed its military assets to protect Qatar from external threats. Officials said about this pact as "Just short of stationing Troops on Ground".

6. Tajikistan ::
Farkhor Air Base located in Tajikistan has an Indian Air Force presence since long. This is Indian Air Force's only active Foreign Base.

7. Nepal ::
India has long stated that any attack on Nepal will be considered as an attack on India and has committed itself to the defense of this landlocked Nation.
It was reported in 2000 that India is going to construct an Air Base in Surkhet for IAF's operation. India is also the largest arms supplier to Nepal.

8. Vietnam ::
India has berthing rights in Vietnam and regularly gives Port Calls. The have a good security co-operation to keep an Eye on China.
India is also setting up a Satellite Tracking and Imaging Centre in southern Vietnam that will give Hanoi access to pictures from Indian Earth Observation Satellites that cover the region, including China and the South China Sea.

9. Maldives ::
A small island nation which was saved from outside coup by immediate armed intervention by India, Maldives is now under India's security grid.
India has setup radars on all 26 atolls of Maldives and networked with Indian Coastal Radar System.
The Indian Coast Guard regularly conducts sorties and Patrols in Maldivian Waters to keep its security intact.

10. Bhutan ::
Bhutan is totally under Indian Defence cover. India has considerable influence over this landlocked country as it is surrounded by India on three sides. For Air cover and assistance, Bhutan is dependent on the Indian Air Force.
The Indian Army maintains a training mission in Bhutan known as IMTRAT which is responsible for supplying of Arms and constructing strategic roads in Bhutan.

Bullshit article. We don't have a single active military base outside India where we actually have our troops stationed. Patroling certain country or having berths at some port isn't really a military base. Nepal & Bhutan isn't really anything to brag about.

Maldives ::

India has setup radars on all 26 atolls of Maldives and networked with Indian Coastal Radar System.
The Indian Coast Guard regularly conducts sorties and Patrols in Maldivian Waters to keep its security intact.

That's one of the pearls in the string of pearls, a Sunni Muslim country, under India's security net. This info will certainly cause a lot of heart break here.

Is there even a single day that goes by without Indians referring to themselves as a "superpower"?

China with over a billion people, and an $11 trillion GDP, is still only a developing country.

India with over a billion people, and only a $2 trillion GDP, is a superpower.

Makes sense.

With logistic agreement with US, India can use US military bases across the world. However, With China at India's door steps with Gawdar, India will look east for future bases especially in Vietnam, Taiwan or Japan.

This is a great oppurtunity to increase the defence cooperation between India and USA to the next level. We should utilize this to the maximum, high technology transfer is what we need and that has to be taken from USA or Israel or anyother western nation.
Once the world has confidence in India as responsible power then they will automatically allow Indian military assets to be stationed in their territory.

The US, India, Russia and Japan should form an alliance to preserve the world peace and stability and secure freedom against radical Islam and China, a top American lawmaker has said.

In favour of the alliance, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher said India is particularly poised to grow into a world power if it adopts right policies.

Observing that his world view is similar to that of the president-elect, Rohrabacher said Japan, India, Russia, and the US share common interests, common rivals, and by working together would fashion a more peaceful and prosperous world.

"New alliances, like a grand alliance with the United States with Russia, Japan and India could well do more to preserve the peace and the stability of the world and secure our freedom - especially against radical Islam and China - than any of the old alliances could because the old alliances are not useful in meeting today's challenges-compared to what they did 40 years ago," Rohrabacher said.

"India is particularly poised to grow into a world power," Rohrabacher told the BreitBart News.

"India has that kind of potential. With the right policies, India will have the same economic growth we have seen in China. Its people have incredible entrepreneurial and technological skills and talents," said Rohrabacher, who is Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats.

"Let's take a look at China," he said, adding that the only way to impress upon the Chinese leaders that their intimidation of their neighbours must stop is to present them with an overwhelming force and power that they know they can never match, Rohrabacher said.

"The United States is no longer in a position to do that alone," he noted.

Rohrabacher said the Asia Pacific rebalance was an attempt to meet the challenge from China, but China is now more emboldened because of President Barack Obama's pivot was so poorly executed.

"I'm trying to think of anything of substance in Obama's supposed pivot to Asia-I didn't see anything of substance at all and I am sure the Chinese did not," he said.

"Thus, if you have a President of the United States beating his chest and suggesting some major foreign policy maneuver and then there's nothing, that's going to do nothing but encourage the Chinese," he said, adding that America should embrace its position as a Pacific power through partnerships with India, Japan, and Russia.

"India and Japan are major powers in the world-right now-and their potential is enormous. If we are working with them and we have a workable coalition with them, that is something that would balance off the dynamics at play with an expanding China," he said.

"Japan has a very strong economy that is quite often overlooked, and it so often overlooked as a force in the world because it is so peaceful," Rohrabacher said.

We were well aware how active INDIANS has transformed itself just to contain China AND Islam in our region. Well we all are also preparing to contain the INDIANS evil agenda.
