Actually Hinduism don't impose restriction on its followers to visit graves/mosques/churches etc while Islam is strict when it come to shirk/polytheism because its considered major sin in Islam which God will never forgive and that sin is shirk which is to associate Partners with God or to associate his attributes with someone else. Even those Christians who consider Jesus as son of God cannot be called as monotheist . Islam also give guidance about how yo should live your life as its complete code of life unlike Hinduism/Sikhism which are not too strict about how you should live your life and bit less judgement and less concept of reward or fear of punishment. Its about karma for them. you will reap what you will sow and then one give concept of afterlife and the other give concept of reincarnation so yes they are very different in nature/teachings/practices/aqeedah/judgement but off course moral teaching of all religion are almost same that no cheating, killing, stealing etc

you seem to know quite a bit about hinduism (in practice).
Most hindus do not real or bother about religious scriptures of our own.. so the zakir naik wannabes might find very tough customer among us..

hindus themselves have so varied and often mutually incompatible beliefs that it is easier to think them as a groups of people with shared culture/tradition bound by a geography.

You seem to be pissed off on my replies, you never replied my post of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Prophesized in Hindu Scriptures. Well leave this topic now. I never meant to hurt your feelings. As far as i have read the Hindu Scriptures, i came to know that Vishnu is the Only Powerful God according to Hindu scriptures, rest all depend upon him. Not my personal belief but for the sake of knowledge, correct me if i am wrong ?

No I am not pissed off. But really you should not pick stuff up from Naik's websites or whatever and post it and waste everyone's time. These things have been gone over many times on PDF and will result in many people being banned.

Only in Vaishnava traditions Vishnu is considered the Supreme Soul. Shiavites on the other hand believe Shiva to be the Supreme Being. Otherwise, he is one of the three Gods that form the trinity personifying the cosmic functions of creation, maintenance, and destruction (Brahma-Vishnu-Maheshwara).

The best and the most enjoyable way perhaps to understand Hinduism is to read the book "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch. While it is considered a New Age book, literally every single idea presented there is a lifted from Hinduism or reflective of Hinduism.

Read this before you start with Vedas. You will have better understanding.

so you are saying that vastu sastra has nothing to do with Hinduism;?...vastu art was originated from satpathya veda,which is a part of atharva veda??correct me if i am wrong??
