order of Battle for Rah-e Haq 2, 3

Having gone through the threads, there is almost no mention of the army units involved in this operation, where the units began deployment, objectives, battle flow etc. If anyone knows of the OB for this operation, even a sketchy one it would help. How many tanks\gunships were used? aircraft? Unit designations instead of "17,000 men". The usual details. Any sketch maps available?

It is really pathetic to see the PA give in. They remind me of the South Vietnamese army in the Nam days, totally ineffective most of the time.

Both were fighting on the US side and both were fighting against their own people and both lost their respect among their fellow countrymen.

ARVN had a serious corruption problem.
Are you saying that the PA has the same problem?

The SVN Govt was corrupt and openly so
Are you saying the same for the GoP?

This is parts of the fundamental difference between Nam and the current issues in Pakistan.

The agenda for the VC, NVA and the NVGovt are different to, so far than the current internal agendas with Pakistan issues .

All perrya has done is trivialised a big issue, possibly perrya has now real depth of understanding beyond flame comments.

I would have thought you would see things with a bit more depth than trivial shallow surface comments.

Yes, except for some European countries who do not do business 'exclusively' with US. I dont want to waste the space by giving the corruption figures in the countries dealing business with US. But Karzai and Co is in the neighbourhood.

GoP got into corruption from head to toe soon after they accepted the 'wheat aid (AIDs? acquired immunity deficiency syndrome)' in early 50s.

Not really. Islamists are getting foot hold in rural as well as urban areas because the government do not bother about law and order, provision of inexpensive and immediate justice, jobs, inflation, and above all, killing of its citizens by the occupation forces. It is only a matter of time when Drones will be firing missiles in the major Pakistani cities.
