Oracle Power enjoying strong support for its development of the Thar coal project

Oracle Power PLC's (LON:ORCP) Naheed Memon caught up with Proactive London's Andrew Scott for a brief update following the announcement this morning that they're seeing strong support for its development of the Thar coal project.

She says they've been copied into a letter from the Minister of Energy for the government of Sindh to the chairman of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) authority confirming “continued and strong support” for the project.

Whats funny about all this anti-cpec rhetoric in the west is that a British firm Oracle power had bought rights to a block of Thar Coal but developed nothing. When the Chinese got involved in Thar coal as part CPEC, things got done. Coal mines and power plants got built on time and on budget. The British owned block is empty.
