In a recent opinion poll conducted by the think tank YouGov@Cambridge,
77 percent of the people surveyed considered Imran Khan as the best suited (first & second choice) politician to lead Pakistan in comparison to 11 percent for Nawaz Shariff, 13 percent for Prime Minister Gilani and 1 percent for Pervez Elahi.
The survey also reveals that
94 percent of the respondents feel that there is widespread corruption in the government
88 percent consider the police and other law enforcement agencies as the most corrupt.
74 percent of the respondents consider the US government at war with the Muslim world. And,
84 percent of the respondents oppose the presence of the US troops in Pakistan.
70 percent of the respondents reject US aid
86 percent respondents opposing US drone attacks.
