Nothing will happen to Pakistan as long as China is strongly supporting it. Remember Pakistan is China's Israel. China will do anything and everything for the sake of Pakistan.

China has a very peripheral impact on stability in Pakistan - primarily by virtue of being a reliable supplier of military equipment and economic investment that gives the civilian government and military additional space to carry out development, strengthen institutions and conduct kinetic and intelligence operations to counter destabilizing elements within Pakistan.

The main driver of instability in Pakistan will be the civilian government and it's inability to properly invest in development, reconstruction and strengthening of institutions. The military has demonstrated, multiple times, that it can successfully conduct kinetic operations to clear and hold territory, but what the military cannot do is provide long term stability since that requires the civilian government to implement reconstruction and development policies. The civilian government hasn't even implemented the FATA reforms, for example, after several years.

Military, Economy and Politics (Foreign Affairs and Domestic) are the three areas that make a country.

China is already strongly supporting two and half of those three areas leaving only the domestic component of the politics to Pakistan. Chinese power and influence should neither be understated nor under estimated.

Like I said, it has an impact, but nowhere near as significant as you are making it out to be. The major issue remains the ineffective use of resources (compounded by corruption and waste) by civilian governments (military governments in the past have not been much better either). Pakistan has the capacity and resources to undertake the necessary development and reconstruction without Chinese assistance. Chinese assistance just allows for some additional resources to be put in place after the waste and corruption.

This is what happens when you're on american aid for so long that your rulers are comprised by Pentagon, there will be no action taken against Afghanis or terrorism in Pakistan, they can't make any policies because all of their instructions come from Pentagon.
