What's new

On this Day Sultan Salah ud Deen Triumphed over Crusaders at The Battle of Hattin, 1187

Tamerlane, Baybars, Ahmad Shah Durrani, Shahbaz Kamboh, Osman I Ghazi, Bakhtiyar Ghiliji, Babur, Barbarossa, Mehmet Al Fatih, Jasrath Khokhar, Hyder Ali, Tipu Sultan and Aurangzeb Alamgir were all great Muslim military leaders who came after Salahuddin.
well they might be good generals but were they great generals of Islam? Sultan conquered Jerusalem

. .
They were all pretty religious.
i in sure they were but Jerusalem was the prize and Sultan conquered it and not just his conquests make him great but his kindness and the way he lived and died makes him a great general! imo.

.
when Allah created all the billions of souls for some of them he also created legacy for which mankind will talk until the day of judgment

and one of those men was Saladin

Europe threw everything they had at time, Richard Lon heart from England, Pope Urban II from Italy, Frederick from Germany and Reginald de Chatillon from France

over 1 million men, but numbers never scared Saladin, he fulfilled the rights of the Ummah

there is a old saying from Hattin

when you looked at the crusader army you could never image they would ever die

and when you looked at the dead on the battlefield after Saladin was finished you could never image that they ever lived

Saladin killed so many only 1/10 lived to tell the tale, it was a complete wipe out victory

. .
i in sure they were but Jerusalem was the prize and Sultan conquered it and not just his conquests make him great but his kindness and the way he lived and died makes him a great general! imo.
Oof!
You again
For the last time, kindness doesn’t make a great general and neither does conquering “the prize”.
