Like all other disasters and incidents in which Pakistani people lost their lives and properties..No inquiry report of the Ojhri camp ammunition dump explosions was eve made public..

Can we piece together our knowledge and information about the incident and try to know how the incident happened,and how was it handled..

Members are encouraged to post their personal experiences,specially those who were in any way involved in the incident,such as residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Well I'll share my experience, or rather the one narrated to me.

We have our family house in G sector of Islamabad, and on that fine day... my grandparents were sitting in the dining room (with it's door opening into the lawn). Suddenly some rockets and shrapnel started falling in the lawn and in a few moments, the whole place was strewn with chunks of metal. They had no idea what was going on and it was total panic at that time. The lawn got a few holes dug up, and looked like a blast site!!!

Thankfully nobody in our family present there at the time got hurt.
