I am exited and fully support the peaceful protests!

The Protests meanwhile are spreading to other places in the US. Without change in the US we can do little in Europe or Asia, so this matters to all of us.

Are you close to NYC? If you can, join the protest! I share your general skepticism but lets not be overly pessimistic. The Unions have joined the protest and it is spreading to other places. Mass peaceful protest can change any system.

And the US is in principle, already a democracy, it is just screwed up badly..

But if congress is kicked out, genuine campaign finance reform and strict financial regulations are undertaken it could get back on track, I think. I know it isn't easy at all, but change is always possible. We saw it happen in countries where protesters where shot at and killed..
