Inna lillahe wa inna elaihe rageoun. To Him izza wa jal we belong and to Him we will return. It is said that after life there are only 3 things that can benefit you. Your good deeds, any sadaqa e jaariyya that will continue to benefit you and a naik and saleh aulaad who will pray for you.
It is indeed a sad loss. To lose your parents are at any age is hard for anyone if you love them. It is somehow more so for your mother. However this glorious lady had a life which should be celebrated as she was all for Allah and his khalq and as such one can only pray that Allah izza wa Jal will elevate her position in the hereafter and grant he Jannatul firdaus Al Aala.
On these occasions we forget that the only thing that can help them is duas from a Naik and saleh progeny. Therefore it is our responsibility to ensure that we pray and read the Quran and always beg Allah for forgiveness for our loved ones and in the process prepare our children for the time when we need their prayers the most. In death of others is a stark reminder that it will come to us as well and we should never forget that.
