Well now that you have descended to another level, let me remind you that in the same conflict, the cut down Indian soldiers had to survive on water left with them by Pakistani soldiers but most never survived the night.

And as it's also been discovered that the Indian army has been hiding it's casualties for the last 15 years, why not enlighten us the reasons behind India's dilemma.
While you are merely assuming , i can prove that India lacks the will to start a war with Pakistan.
Indian army 'backed out' of Pakistan attack
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/KA21Df02.html

I completely agree that India lacked the will to attack Pakistan but thats because of the government, be it parliament attack or the Mumbai attack the leadership was actually very cowardly and I dun feel ashamed in accepting that.
And UPA regime was also responsible for hiding causalities and reporting actual situations on the LOC because they were too busy in gasping money and too afraid of war(even skirmish), and its not just the advance army that makes potent enemy its leadership and decision making power.

I will not be chest thumping or anything but recent government has made alot things clearer at international front taking strong standings and that why both pakistan and chinese leadership is more worried than ever.
Pakistan also failed in forecasting such leadership of india and thats why their people are worried and want someone likes of manmohan back.
But its not just india pakistani leadership has not done anything comendable as well, this thread is a proof of that.

List released means we did not hide casualties.

Also 144 is real number as is 780 SSG killed in NWA as per SSG chief.

But it took you 50 plus you to pay homage to them and to recognize their sacrifices.

Both 44 and 780 are fake numbers. Proven at least a dozen times on this forum. Nothing more left to discuss about them.

@The Eagle Check the rat please.

.
Nonetheless that means casualties were not hidden.
Pakistan army is yet to pay homage to its 1971 casualties.

Both 144 & 780 are real and official whereas 4674 is proven fake.

1962 guys were given homage after 60 years that is equal to hiding.

Both 144 & 780 were proven fake.

4,000 soldiers killed since 1999 Kargil conflict
Rajat Pandit| TNN | Nov 26, 2012, 09.42 PM IST
NEW DELHI: Without going to war, India has lost close to 4,000 soldiers in counter-insurgency operations as well as in manning high-altitude areas like Siachen in the last 12 years since the 1999 Kargil conflict with Pakistan. Moreover, over 100 soldiers continue to commit suicide every year.

Defence minister A K Antony, in a written reply in Lok Sabha on Monday, said that while 530 soldiers were martyred during Operation Vijay in 1999, another 3,987 have been killed in the 2000-2012 timeframe.

The number of soldiers being killed in counter-insurgency operations in both Jammu and Kashmir and north-east, of course, has been steadily declining over the last decade with the Army achieving a much better "kill ratio" versus the militants.

But suicide and fragging (to kill a fellow soldier) cases continue to remain as high as ever. Around 1,020 soldiers have committed suicide just since 2003. Disclosing the figures, Antony said while 96 soldiers had committed suicide in 2009, the figures stood at 115 in 2010, 102 in 2011 and 81 till now this year.

As reported by TOI earlier, three ugly face-offs between officers and jawans have also been reported in the 1.13-million strong Army in just the last one year. This is a clear indicator of the declining standards of leadership and discipline in the 1.13-million strong Army, where jawans are no longer willing to be humiliated by their officers, as well as the stressful working conditions in the force.

The stand-off between officers and jawans of an armoured corps unit at Samba in J&K, in fact, had been triggered after a solider had committed suicide on August 8. The one in Nyoma sector of eastern Ladakh in May had ended in a violent clash between officers and jawans of the 226 Field Artillery Regiment, leaving the unit commanding officer, two majors and two jawans hospitalised with limb fractures, bruises and other injuries.
Also, 25,063 soldiers have also proceeded on pre-mature retirement during the last three years. "However, reasons for seeking pre-mature retirement cannot be attributed to stressful working environment," said Antony, who added that government had been continuously taking steps to reduce stress among soldiers after undertaking a number of studies. But the parliamentary standing committee on defence has repeatedly criticized the MoD for taking only piecemeal steps instead of totally revamping existing mechanisms to deal with stress and other problems faced by soldiers.

4,000 Army soldiers killed, 390 suicides since Kargil
http://www.rediff.com/news/report/army-4000-soldiers-killed-390-suicides-since-kargil/20121126.htm

Those casualty figures were given by none other than the former Indian defense minister in 2012 and four years later the figure of 4675 ideally falls in place

And don't expect much for your soldiers from us. The respect you are getting from us is more than enough.

ISLAMABAD: After a minister’s hesitation to share the number of Pakistani troops who laid down their lives in recent incidents of Indian firing from across the Line of Control (LoC), Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani on Tuesday held that no information could be withheld from parliament.

Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali informed the house that as many as 66 civilians had been killed and 288 injured as a result of unprovoked Indian firing from across the LoC, but the number of army troops martyred could not be disclosed due to security reasons.

“We do not want our enemy to know how many soldiers laid down their lives,” he said.

The minister said a letter had been written to the General Headquarters, seeking more details which were expected to be available in a couple of days.

The chairman said the calling attention notice on the matter had appeared on the agenda on Tuesday but it had been with the Senate secretariat for several days and the information should have come by now.

“Will the order of parliament prevail or that of the Ministry of Defence or GHQ?” he asked.

Stressing that no information could be concealed from parliament, he said if the government wanted, the session could be declared in-camera when it would be shared.

He said parliament was supreme and he could not allow hiding of information from the forum.

The chairman ordered that the information be provided to the house during the current session.

He said that if any matter of national security was involved, there were two options: either an in-camera session could be held or the information submitted to the office of the Senate chairman where the members could go through it.

Senator Ateeq Sheikh of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement had moved the notice to draw the government’s attention towards the loss of precious lives of Pakistani citizens in the Indian firing.

Effective Public Relations strategy by RAW - purchasing Pakistani media houses and bribing Pakistani ministers to state half-truths to paint incorrect picture and sow doubts in minds of public.

But the The respect you guys are giving to your dead soldiers is definitely not enough

Since Pakistani Armed forces wont disclose casualities it only means that there is a reason why they wont release. This could be to manipulate the news. For eg. when Pakistan fires in Afghanistan on a village compound or something the news always is that the terrorists were hit, whereas when Afghanistan fires back the news reads that the civilians were hit (mostly, barring aberrations). Same is the case of firing with India, when India fires its on civilians and when Pakistani fires its IA posts etc.
So, till such time PA releases the figures the news is going to be only civilians dead in enemy fire on Pakistani side.
Its alright with us Indians we can say whatever casualities on Pakistani side like in Kargil some poster said Pakistani casualities were 4000 in Kargil War.

.
It's also a shame that no one from Indian embassy came to receive the shot down ALIVE Indian pilot Nachiketa, thus he had to be handed over to Red Cross. :disagree:

So tragic, Poor soldiers of 1971 didn't get the homage deserved for sacrifices.

Both 144 & 780 proven totally true, 4674 proven 100% false.

Only one running for help crying is you.:)

Your bubble has been busted....find some new lines.
