Well ive readed these 2 novels completely...
The Writer tells his story about working as a spy for pakistan and covert operations in india..
Is this story really true??
in the end of the Novel Jaanbaz his wife tells his real name "Syed Salim Abbas"
the novel was although nice but wanted to confirm if it was really true or not?

Yes his real name was sleem and he passed away
All stories and every event was written as truth no place for doubt

Well darogh bar gardan e ravi.
I met a person(a big book-shop owner) in Islamabad, who personally knew this gentlemen. He said all this is bluff and false. The writer is just a good novelist.
For example, the "accident of Gorakhpoor" air base took place, indeed, but, how? May be my grand father blew that(I was not even born by then ) or may be this gentleman(Salim Sahib). Who gonna investigate?

At many places into the both novels. His statements differ. In the novel Ghazi. He states that it was the last time he saw Haji Mastan Khan. Later in Janbaaz he talks about meeting Mastan again. But the facts he has given make it a bit legit. God knows :d

I have tried to tally incidents of novel with reality, couldn't find evidence.
