Muslims in India are better placed than the one in Pakistan. We had presidents to Supeme court chief justice as Muslims. In india Muslims have all freedom of speech. Freedom to the extent of making public statement of eliminating 100 crore Hindus by Muslims. They have the freedom to publically announce that they will cut our prime minister into pieces. What more freedom do you advocate?

New Delhi: The threat of increasing radicalisation in Pakistan is a matter of concern, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval said, adding that there is "not a single neighbor that we don't have a problem with."

"The threat is real and the threat is imminent. There is change in Pakistan and Afghanistan... Particularly in Pakistan... The radicalisation of Pakistan's society is a matter of added concern," Mr Doval said on Thursday at an event organized by the Air Force Association.

Highlighting the complexities involving national security given India's population and the shared borders, Mr Doval said, "There is not a single neighbor that we don't have problem with... Myanmar insurgency problem, Bangladesh illegal migrants problem, Nepal is being used a territory for doing all erroneous tasks by notorious agencies... two neighbours are also nuclear capable."

The National Security Advisor said India was "sceptical" about the ability and willingness of Islamabad to handle the situation referring to the radicalisation in the country.

"We are sceptical about the abilities or the competence and the will and desire of the Pakistan government to take on and control the situation though we would like them very much to do so," said Mr Doval, a former chief of the Intelligence Bureau.

He said India wanted to deal with Pakistan "fairly" and had been trying to engage its neighbour in a dialogue.

"We want to deal with Pakistan in a way which is fair, correct, transparent and which is not bending to any of the pressure tactics or the blackmailing or the thinking that nuclear threshold probably will leave India with no option but to accept the covert war as a reality to which they don't have any response," he said.

"We want them to change their thinking and, to that extent, India is happy (to help) and India has been trying to engage and I do hope that this engagement in changed circumstances will make them understand that it is in the interests of both the countries," he added.

The truth lies in the fact that progressive radicalization of Pak society is alive and kicking. It's too late for anyone there to reverse the process. It's like trying to shut the stable after the horse has bolted.
