North Waziristan’s Grand Tribal Jirga held successful negotiations with the Pakistan government today demanding declaration of ‘full authority’ and ‘confidence’ over the ‘nominated tribal jirga’ authorised for peace establishment. Jirga appealed the Pakistani authorities to stop unannounced military operation in North Waziristan Agency and relaxation in recently imposed curfew in parts of the agency.
