@ultron what is the purpose of these stickers? Never heard of them in Eastern Canada. Does it make people buy less gas for their cars?

It is nothing but a liber all feel good. They never care about pollution. They dump garbage and chemicals into the ocean. In North Vancouver you have to drive because it rains practically every day.

It's not like gas stations are going anywhere. Seems pretty enforceable to me. Each gas pump is regulated anyway to avoid consistency in volume. I don't what the hillbilly's in the States are doing at their stations. How is this a liberal thing? The American political system is fucked up it's too binary people can't effectively choose other than two mindsets. The amount of ignorance is astounding... This doesn't even hurt anyone

They can simply tear off the labels and say the rain soaked it and it peeled off

well it says it's supposed to be a world first that why they're not anywhere else. I guess it's like a cigarette sticker. They're probably thinking about the long adjustments people will make. North-Van is connected to an adequate bus system so it may encourage people to use that, plus North Van is known for people trying to be extravagant, it may encourage people to drive a more fuel efficient car or an electric car?

No ones got the time or cares enough to do that. It's a pretty pathetic life if someone spends their time doing that.

BTW most gas stations usually already have some sort of stickers about something or advertising. OP is just too worried about the "liberals" to see how ridiculous it is to worry about this

There is no evidence CO2 causes any global warming. Maybe in theory. But there is no real world evidence of that. Essentially, people would die of CO2 suffocation before there can be any noticeable change in climate due to CO2 increase. Putting misleading stickers is morally bad.

BTW, is it really true that smoking causes cancer? What would be the mechanism of that? Native Americans smoked for thousands of years and they never had any problem with cancer.

Those fags might as well put stickers on electric cars warning people, big batteries cause cancer and sterility, which are in fact proven facts. Gas in comparison is completely harmless. Anyway, the truth will come out when people can no longer have children due to electro magnetic over dose
