As i already said,you never really know.These kind of ops are called covert ops for for a reason so that we dont know for sure who really was involved in that particular op.

As I pointed out earlier, a helicopter related incident blew the cover of this military operation. If this incident had not occurred, then the cover-up would have been really effective.

Pakistan have conducted a thorough investigation of this event but its findings are not public knowledge.

Some individuals, who were involved in this mission, did not stay silent for long. They felt the need to address some conspiracy theories [which typically arise due to gaps in known information and/or for desire for publicity and fame by some]. However, in this era of knowledge, nothing remains classified for long.

Also,Why do u think nobody from army/air force `s top brass openly condemned this op.

What would they say? Dear President Obama, how dare you order assassination of the world's most wanted terrorist without consulting us first?

A minor hint: COAS gave orders to the military forces to shoot down any intruding aircraft.

Yes he could have said that.There is no law which gives the permission of conducting ops in sovereign country without its permission even if its conducted to eliminate a most wanted terrorist.

I think Pakistan knew about this op completely but didnt want to do this op on its own so that it may not piss off Al qaida and afghan talibans......Just my 2 paisas.

Contrary to the popular belief, Pakistani military establishment was never comfortable with the prospect of US military forces conducting attacks inside Pakistani territory. At maximum, [some] drone strikes were carried out with approval from Pakistani military establishment in select few regions that were notorious for militant activity.

Barack Obama adopted an aggressive counter-terrorism policy vis-a-vis Pakistan because US intelligence agencies asserted that Pakistani territory had become a safe-haven for terrorists and some Pakistani were complicit in this. I am not asserting that Pakistani military establishment was guilty of these developments; Pakistani intelligence agencies had been conducted a nation-wide crackdown against terrorists and such operations commenced in Abbottabad [2 years] before Operation Neptune Spear because their was an influx of newcomers in Abbottabad and similar areas.

No, PAF didn't manage to shoot down any intruding aircraft. This was partly due to timing-factor.

COAS gave that order as soon as he became aware of the ground realities of the events.

Contrary to the popular belief (again), Pakistani military establishment did not suspect that US leadership possesses the political will to approve a military operation as ambitious as Operation Neptune Spear inside Pakistani territory. Pakistani military establishment was actually off-guard by this event because it dispelled the official narrative that Pakistan and US were on the same page about the matters related to War on Terror and put Pakistani military establishment in an embarrassing situation.

Pakistani security apparatus would have come taken action [on its own] if it had been aware of presence of Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad. Just a few months back, ISI nabbed another high-profile terrorist Umar Patek from the same region and raided another compound that was suspected to be harboring Abu Faraj Al-Libbi.

I am totally rejecting the current perimeters of being Pakistani only by praising corrupt ministry of defense & Interior. Pakistan is established by the blood of millions civilians which struggled for separate nation to live free from threats. Pakistan army is just an white elephant couldn't get a single occupied land from 1948 but demand public praising even when they are failed to protect 160 millions of Pakistani civilians and their own assets.
Question: Then why we need army?

Our savior is government of Pakistan not a group of Gun carry you assumed "Pakistan Military". This complicated logic should be clear. Yes......government of Pakistan is paying for their duties and they didn't stand there for "Fee sabeel-lillah". If state will refuse to pay them by ordering work for free....your border will be helpless.

These were western border tribal people whom we should pay salute protected border even when state didn't pay and they fulfill their duties because they believe on Pakistan like a Faith. They were same patriots of Pakistan who helped in 1948 to take out northern areas and Azad Kashmir from Indian occupation.....Where were this mighty army then? And what crown they sworn on the nation?: Afghan WAR-War on Terrorism, more than million innocent lives victims of Pakistan military chess games?
