Rajiv Gandhi was the worst PM India has ever had.

- According to Natwar Singh he did not even consult his own cabinet before deploying IPKF and that decision was one of the most foolish made by any Indian PM and People criticize Modi for choosing his own central banker!

- He mismanaged the elections in Kashmir horribly and we are still paying the price for it.

- He over ruled the courts in Shah Bano case against the strong advice of Muslim liberals who lobbied strongly against it......leading to the current "appeasement" storyline, he also banned Satanic verses - another completely needless capitulation to the conservatives

- bofors was a huge scam and his and his wife's friends seem to have benefited...whether he personally did or not

- Bhopal gas tragedy...no justice till now for the victims

- 1984 riots...no justice for the victims...when a tree falls the ground shakes !

And on and on and on....if he hadn't been assassinated India would have either had a revolution to get rid of the emperor or degraded and eventually broken into useless little bits.

Not everything is black or white. If there is one good thing Raviv did, it was opening of Babri gates to Hindus.
As long as old crimes are not addressed, justice can never be done. Sickulars can not hide under the garb of crime having happened long back, especially since the justice being demanded by Hindus is one of balance in terms of getting our gods property back to our lord.

The Babri Masjid premises were sealed, and not by the Supreme Court, but by a junior court long before the matter was referred higher. These sealed premises were broken into, in a clandestine manner, in a direct breach of the law. The fact that a sitting prime minister connived at it does not make it legal; it merely makes that prime minister a felon, aiding and abetting a felony.

It is sad that you not only justify a breach of the law, but you do not have the mental equipment to explain why you are doing so.

You cannot use a judgement of decades after an incident to justify a breach of the law decades before.

The Supreme Court made an allocation of land; it was not deciding a criminal case.

For your information, and that of all ill-educated idiots everywhere, criminal cases and civil cases are different. The Supreme Court judgement nowhere implies any criminal act was committed.

Committing an act of felony and being charged for it are two different things. That Rajiv Gandhi committed a crime and that he was not charged for it does not mean that he did not commit the crime.

On the matter of the Supreme Court judgement, you think a judgement in a particular year points to a crime decades before, and vindicates another crime in the years intervening. The question of the difference between criminal and civil law does not occur to you to be relevant. What more needs to be said about your ability to comprehend these issues? You then defend the great bhakt Rajiv Gandhi because in this case he acted like a sinister manipulator of communal politics, and that suits your ideology, and come out with a laughable excuse about no FIR having been lodged against him. There are thousands of criminals around whose crimes have been ignored and against whom there are no FIRs. So what? Was the act of breaking in a crime or not? Do you think that aiding and abetting it was a crime or not?
