No new Pakistani university is included in the world's top 374 universities in the new global ranking for 2020.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) of the United States is ranked first, Stanford University is second, Harvard University is third and Oxford University is fourth in the global ranking of universities released by leading British institution QS .
India's 3, Malaysia's 2 and Saudi Arabia's universities are among the 200 best universities in the list.
Two Pakistani universities are among the top 100 universities in Asia
The world ranking does not include any Pakistani university in the world's 374 universities but 375th of the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) in Islamabad and 400 of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Number one.
Karachi's largest university in the 1000 did not even make it to the university.
On the other hand , Singapore University ranked first in the Asian rankings , with NIST being ranked 83rd in Pakistani universities, 110th in Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LMS) and 111th in Quaid-e-Azam University.
Punjab University was 195th, Aga Khan University 201 and Karachi University 239th.
