Pakistanis must be congratulated for this unique feat. All hail the pindi boys and their Lordships of the Supreme cout. Who in their wisdom chose not to punish any of the fauji Coup makers in past.. those who even over ran the constituion itself... lost half of pakistani territory.
Ironically these judges refered to the same constitutional provisions in cahoots with the faujis to overthrow democratically elected PM.

it is for that very reason military coup remained bloodless and they ended up after a while. If those judges wouldn't have let the military ruler get constitutional escape goat army might never let the constitution revived ever.

DO u think it is good in long term.. I mean 62 article was devised by a military ruler Zia himself so as to make provision to legally boot out an elected leader. The contents of this article is highly subjective as we all know it and it has been purposeful;ly kept that way by Zia,

Article 62b is amended in 17th constitutional amendment. It no longer can oust an elected prime minister.

This whole non sense (No PM could complete its tenure) being picked up by people with an IQ of potato reminds me what David Hume said. It is applicable to both India and Pakistan..

Then so extraordinary a jealousy and apprehension, on account of changes, is ill placed; and a man should no more be anxious in this case, than a husband, who had married a woman from the stews, should be watchful to prevent her infidelity. Public affairs, in such a government, must necessarily go to confusion, by whatever hands they are conducted; and the zeal of patriots is in that case much less requisite than the patience and submission of philosophers. The virtue and good intentions of CATO and BRUTUS are highly laudable; but, to what purpose did their zeal serve? Only to hasten the fatal period of the ROMAN government, and render its convulsions and dying agonies more violent and painful.

If no PM has completed its terms that only mean one thing that state has got builtin check and balances to remove the corrupts and incapable lot who were becoming a danger to state. This is a strength of state. We don't sit on our backside and let the looters plunder our country endlessly.
One more important aspect, that unlike in Turkey when Erdogan was facing the coup and Turkish people came out in numbers to support him, in Pakistan, no one bothered to support the ousted PMs and resist on their behalf. which goes to show that during their rule they lost the respect and support of the masses. Nawaz Shareef went with whimper while masses were distributing sweets on streets of Pakistan.
At the end of the day, State is important not individuals. So gives a fu** if non completed its term?
