Nighttime economy booms in China's Xinjiang

You forget how China is forcing Uighur to abandon their culture and that is a recipe for disaster in the long term.
Getting educated and jobs is of course welcomed by everyone.

Uighur culture is not abandoned, Han Chinese also love it. If you are talking about black totally covered suits, these are not welcome.

Something I haven't appreciated until recently is how liberating China's anti-terrorism policy has been to moderate Uighurs. It's the extremist, ultra-conservative, terrorist-leaning minority now singing Party songs and sewing undergarments in the camps that were making life miserable for the rest of the Uighurs. Now moderate Uighurs can enjoy their lives without pressure from Wahhabists, Uighur women can go out in public without dressing like Nazgûl, Uighur children can grow up without poisonous Salafist influence.

We should remember the suffering that Muslim terrorists inflict on other Muslims and celebrate that Uighur Muslims have been rescued from that suffering.

What Uighur women do after work, they really know how to enjoy theire lives

Night markets help residents rise above poverty in Xinjiang, China

I dont think Xinjiang is really an autonomous region. Chinese government have changed the demographic of Xinjiang province systematically and Ugyur I believe cannot complain. Ugyur have become minority in their own land. This is I think one thing that make some Ugyur have resentment on Han Chinese and Chinese government.

You should first have some knowledge of history before making such a statement.

Census of Xinjiang under Qing rule in the early 19th century tabulated ethnic shares of the population as 30% Han and 60% Turkic, while it dramatically shifted to 6% Han and 75% Uyghur in the 1953 census. It was the Uighur rebellions that shifted the demography of the region, which currently is being restored.

In Xinjiang, they have Nurbiya who walks free.

In India, they have Nirbhaya who was martyred.
