Kochi- Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, Chief of Naval Staff, Nigerian Navy, accompanied by a four-member delegation, is on an official visit to Kochi from 18 to 19 July 2018 with the aim to consolidate bilateral naval relations between the two countries. Vice Admiral AR Karve, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command held discussions with the CNS, Nigerian Navy on training related issues and other areas of common interest. The Admiral was given an overview of training activities conducted by SNC followed by a visit to various training schools and facilities at Kochi. During his visit, he also interacted with Nigerian naval personnel undergoing training with the # IndianNavy at Kochi. Interestingly, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas has also undergone Sub Lieutenant Technical Courses at INS Venduruthy, from April 1983 to May 1984.
