If you see the list properly, you will see alot of new developments...
If nothing changes then offcourse Lt Gen Khalid Shameem Wynne is the next Army Chief however to me it seems that this will not happen, I think General Kiyani will make a very big decision by giving extension to another Lt. General and make him the next Chief Of The Army Staff.
At the moment the best choice for the Next Chief is Lt. General Ahsan Azhar Hayat (4th Army Senior) who is supposed to retire in April/May 2010. To our opinion he is one of the best soldiers ever made by this Army. A total professional and a proper Army Man with a dashing personality which speaks for its own.
Right now Lt. General Masood Aslam is on extension, may be General Kiyani is thinking of making him the next COAS and Lt. General Ahsan as the next CJCSC. These two Gentlemen are worth the positions. One is on extension, the other may be get one as He is an asset to this Army.
Another opinion is of COAS General Ashfaq Parvez Kiyani taking an extension and making a VCOAS either Lt. General Masood Aslam or Lt. General Ahsan Hayat and out of these two one as the next CJCSC.
Lets see what happens................ May Pakistan get the best!
