Akbar said that his ministry had drafted the K-P Tehsil Local (Government Private Housing Scheme Management and Regulation) Rules 2020, and the K-P Model Building By-Laws 2020. He said that the construction laws will be amended to make them more effective and to facilitate investors.
The minister added that the construction industry is a priority sector for the government, dubbing it as the main engine of growth that will contribute to the economic prosperity and rehabilitation of the economy by creating employment opportunities for the masses in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
