I have had a little discussion with @mr.green in another thread and have asked him to read those threads of mine about (a). My proposal for a new, progressive and just socio-economic system, (b). How to achieve true democracy, (c). A call for a global ban on privately-owned personal transport vehicles. He is yet to reply.

See its that simple we can have all the shiny weapons , startegic locations and surplus budget for our treasury but if

WE THE UMMAH WON'T SAFEGUARD THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DIGNITY OF THE BELIEVERS AND HUMANITY AT LARGE , ALLAH SWT IS NOT GOING TO GUIDE OR HELP US !

AFAIK the Libyan Jamahiriya's internal system functioned without interest. And please read the links in post# 16 on my ideas as to how to achieve an interest-less socio-economic system throughout humanity.

According to Punjab local government ordinance there are be 46 local governments in Punjab.
Entire Lahore district is metropolitan corporation and cities of divisional headquarters and Gujarat and Sialkot district are metropolitan corporations and rural areas of these districts are under district councils. And remaining 25 districts only have district councils.
Metropolitan corporation have 1 Mayor and 2 deputy Mayors and district councils 1 Mayor for the district and 1 deputy Mayor for every tehsil of the district. Mayors and deputy Mayors would contest election as joint candidates. And general councillors would be elected on the basis of proportional representation

I hope it to be a propaganda news piece but anything could be expected from a guy who idealises the 60's and is in favour of pampering beaurucrats to the detriment of Pakistani vital interests that may be they could deliver like the 60's but he seems to be ignorant about the infra revolution of the 60's coz it weren't the civil martial law administrators who pulled such socio economic "marvel" but pakistani professionals being assisted by their american counterparts not some b.a pass bullies- -------.

Well put, bhai.

Your proposal for point based currency is futuristic and should be proposed to Cuba and North Korea or Sweden and Norway. Reminds me of the Token currency of Muhammad Bin Tughlaq which was ahead of its time. I am all for time tested Gold and Silver currency which was I think adopted by Gaddafi.

As for true democracy, these are good alternative ideas of Cummunas and worth studying.

Ban on privately owned vehicles is good for cities as there are traffic jams.

I doubt PTI will now give power to mayors because most are lost by PTI. It will be like the last mayors who were never seen and had no powers.
