================================

I am somewhat unsure as to what military use these can be utilized for. Perhaps they can carry AShM's on their wings (probably an Iranian Nasr-1 or Kowsar). Of course, in such a scenario there would be the obvious risk that water would pose to the missile, the cockpit and electrical systems. As such I really cannot comment on this recent addition. Perhaps, and I do hope, it is a test-best for a more versatile craft.

From assessing the pictures alone, it appears that they could most probably be able to fit 1 small to medium sized AShM under each wing near to the fuselage. However, such a configuration would work best given calm waters, speaking of which, I don't see these flying-boats being efficient in anything but calm water.

The closest non-Iranian counterpart I could find is the Airfish-3.

May be they could be basic trainers, can't see them in any combat role.

chasing off illegal fishermen, drug and human trafickers maybe
more of a role of recon and coast guard

[mod edit: please don't derail and make this a religous war]

Pretty much useless tech, the speed and altitude these thing fly at makes them perfect target practice for any modern navy. Other than keeping civilian boats in check and maybe putting up a fancy dress competition, these boats/planes have no real role.

what will be the range of these boats.....
Does such boat have any military value, except "kamikaze attack" or maybe recon role......

Thats not a new surprise if one did read the news carefully.

"Bavar 2" can carry out patrol and identification missions on the sea.

They were never intended to take combat / offense or defence roles

Patrol of what ? even the pirates carry enough ammunition to shoot this plane or whatever it is down. Iran is known for such products that make no sense, such concepts were tried during ww2 and even at that time they failed, this will be like one big target floating at a nice visible height on the water, totally useless. Lets put this along with their "Stealth" jets and "Super" helicopters.

Americans and Israelis are underestimating iranian military forces , they thought they only have missiles which are threat to them but they dont know iranian militay capabilities which is getting more powerful day by day. Drones , aircrafts , flying boats etc , iran has proved that they can make weapons without anyones help and they are trying their best to make improved weapons !
