The article is a bit old but is worth it.
With entrants in aviation market such as Japan with Mitsubishi MRJ(I believe Kawasaki also has one in the works that might resemble kc390), Russia with their new Tupolevs and Sukhoi airliners and Copycat China with their Comac jets.
There is clearly money to be made. The new conventional engine below wing, extra narrow body design is catching on with airlines. Manufacturers are coming up with creative ways of increasing passenger comfort, introducing class system in regional jets, figuring out ways to maximize profits and minimizing costs. Overall increasing versatility.
So will PAC wake up and atleast conceptualize how we can cash in on market demand?
