i think this scholar is mistaken and incorrect.Indian hindus were real oppressor the way they treat lower caste hindus clearly show this and Muslim invasion in india was right and against oppressor higher caste hindus who had made lower caste as slaves and were treating them worst than animals and many hindus belonging to lower caste who became Muslims after Muslims conquering india were freed from this oppression of higher caste indian hindus

In Arab Culture , people are recognized by their tribal name.
That didn't give someone edge on other but to recognize their roots.
Example Roles were divided not because of Race of their roots but cause of skills.

Muslim World Cast was not specified to specific roles, Like Bhamin - Pandits ,Kshatriya ,Vaishya and Shudra. ( one temple custodian, Other Farmer, Other Soldier and Shudra useless rotten ones )

Hence when Muslims rulers saw the culture of India, They used their casts to recognize their roles not their tribes or roots.Hence they focused more on their roles rather than their roots.

Drinking and dancing well , i cannot say for sure.
May they adapted some form of sufi spinning meditation and Qawali music
in order to influence Hindus towards islamic culture, make it easier for them to accept.
Hindus did adopt easier

The Muslim armies invading India did not come specifically to exterminate Hindus or Hinduism, otherwise there would not have been any Hindus in India.

Those armies were just the elements of those times when there were emperors and kings ( monarchy ).

Sorry, but that is wrong. You cannot simply twist history to your convenience. Mughals forcefully converted more in subcontinent more quickly (and through force) than any other civilization has made anyone else pick up a religion. They however could not eradicate the religion because it was so vast, deep and thorough with its people and it was not just 1 philosophy that they could kill.

This was not the way of Quran, which teaches love, peace and light as a way to convince someone but Mughals were simply raiders and used Islam as a binding force for their armies, else they would not have made their own maqbaras bigger than any mosques in India that time. Mughals destroyed more temples than christians destoryed places of worship in their inquisitions.

Sikhism was born to fight that forced conversions that Mughals were forcing on Hindus. The whole story of Guru Gobind Singh's sacrifice - his father, mother, 5 sons led to the famous Punjabi song - Sarbans daniya ve came about to celebrate that fight against the opressor who was forcing Kashmiris to convert their religion. The taxes put on worship was to disincentivized being a Hindu. They tried to exterminate Hinduism, but ended up creating Khalsa panth (Sikhism with 5 identifications) in north and strong pushbacks in west and central India by Hindu kings, so they changed their stance to politics rather than conversion. After Sikhs, the Rajputs fought it and lost because of the lack of discipline & excessive land greed and ended up fighting for land rather than a cause and confusion of ego as pride. Marathas fought them - Shivaji is not a legend for no reason.

Islam has made India richer, and is one of the beautiful flowers of the boquet that India is, gave us sufis, the road of deen and the first religion of a book entered India. But it has come at a cost of being ruled and mutilated by oppressors. Crucial not to let facts be distorted for small mean benefits.
