Nepal PM to visit China in likely snub to India?

. .
Claiming entire South sea...building man made islands and unilaterally declaring no fly zones like anything and lecturing us??
No, no, I have no intention to lecture you. I am just amazed. Besides, claiming the entire south china sea was before anyone else claims. Someone has to claim it first. Building man-made islands is also done by many other countries, including south korean and Indian friends Japan and Vietnam. But again, I have no intention to lecture you. :) About no fly zone, sorry, I am not an American.

Indians arent helping, Oli is.
Nepal isn't becoming Tibet, either. By the way, I have not problem if Madhesi population hold a referendum to decide to join India, like what Sikkim people did.

The sheer cheek of the Chinese to lecture India on disputes between nations is breathtaking. o_O

Nobody is lecturing India. No need to be so sensitive. :)

There is a reason we want Madhesis to stay there :D and no Madhesis are proud Nepalese - just asking for their rights.
Governments vacillate, people stay. Right now a communist government, who knows what next would be?

Pride aside, the area they populate was given to Nepal as a gift by Raj back in 19th century. India could take it back just like Russia did with Crimea.

Indian government is not understanding that the only losers in this scenario is India. If Nepal comes back to India, China will not lose a dime, but until this happens, China will keep supplying Nepal with the required goods and will keep earning money. If the situation remains like this for extended period of time, India will completely lose Nepal.

Personally, as a Pakistani, I would like to see Nepal bonding with China.

India is too big to be snubbed by the leadership of tiny irrelevant countries and Alebeit the leadership, common Nepali folk are our great friends and for border region they are brothers for thousands of years, with our shared religion and culture.

There is no border, no visa between Indo Nepal, it will remain no matter what politicians do, our border is still open for Common Nepali 24/7.

BTW Every Bhukhee Nangaee Freebooter countries look towards US and China for Bheekh, Nepali leadership didn't follow this Bhikhari path till now, its unfortunate they are doing it now.

well if you had been amazed then i am sure you had been equally amazed at the grand expansionist scheme of our eastern neighbor which might put some colonists of past to shame....however someone has yet to claim moon and mars...so just because i will go ahead and claim that it doesn't mean i am noble soul and cry wolf at others...no??? So once again...don't lecture us when you are doing something of far greater magnitude...

I know China has a long history of expansion and contraction. It is often considered a glorified act to expand the territory of an empire and the generals who led the effort are often regarded as national heroes. Today's world is a little different. A nation's independence and sovereignty are regarded with more respect. Today's China controls much smaller territory than that of Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, of which the current government considers themselves as legitimate heir. I wouldn't call them an expansionist. It would be absurd to call some one an expansionist when his territory actually contracts.

Again i smell hypocrisy here.....if the bold part is your logic then the amount of land we have lost since our independence we can dwarf anyone on this planet
