Alhamdu'Lillah, Pakistan's GDP has grown by $62.885 Billion in the last 5 years.

Pakistan's GDP 2007-2008: $167.640 Billion
Pakistan's GDP 2011-2012: $230.525 Billion

Please note, the figures are in dollars.

Currently the demand is outstripping the supply but Alhamdu'Lillah, the GDP continues to grow rather than contract.

Salaam to all the Muslims.

I thought the same thing but then you have to realize that the price is given in Rupees, meaning that on top of the international increase in the price of Gold, Pakistanis are hit with devaluated rupees which is in the control of the government.

And who cares? the PPP leadership has all their money in Swiss accounts, for them they have gotten even more rich. So all in all, this is great news for Zardari, Nawaz, and the like.

Phir bhe zinda ha Bhutto,
Zinda ha BiBi
Maar gaye Awam!

A true bitter reality but i bet Pakistanis will going to elect same corrupt leaders all over again.

There are 48 countries in Asia.

Can some knowledgeable person name just 3 countries in Asia where the above prices have stayed the same or have decreased in the last 5 years?

Only 3 will do. Thank you.

Salaam to all the Muslims.

You forget to mention the Loan which had doubled the figure of 1947-2008. Not to mention the issue of Law & Order & terrorism has rise a hundred folds.
