Need help related to MVC

hello guys,

i need quick help related to MVC(model view controller) in asp.net.
i have to continue project using mvc although i have designed entity framework using database and have done coding related to insertion,deletion,updation..

i have been advised to use MVC,its quite different one from MVP which i have done..
i have to start it quickly and i read from internet but didnt get it properly..
so can u help me by exaplining in simple language..
i m just an fresher
