ESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided to establish a 10-storey emergency center and to purchase special helicopter for providing relief to the people in case of any natural disaster.

KPK government has made a significant move in natural disaster management by initiating work on construction of modern style 10-storey emergency center and purchasing of rescue helicopter for rapid action force.

Finance Minister in KPK government Siraj-ul-Haq has confirmed establishment of the project approved for natural disaster management.

Siraj-ul-Haq added the details of the project that emergency center will be established in Khyber Teaching Hospital while helicopter will be handed over to the hospital administration in coming few months.

The finance minister said that modern equipment will be installed in the emergency center and special training will be provided to the special rescue teams for specialising in facilitating the victims of natural disasters.

Moreover, KPK govt also initiated first of its kind mobile court which will keep moving in different parts of the province to provide justice at the doorsteps of the citizens by hearing their cases and giving instant decisions for the resolution of the disputes.

well i willl be glade if he just purchase equipments and allow posts at central and district hospitals..
it will require less than a billion ruppes but would safe 100s of peoples
even IK doesnt know the ground realitis..
e.g there are no diaylsis machines in any distrct hospitals no CTs no staff
the central hospiatals only have these facilites but so over worked that health care is diastrous.
the biggest hospital of KPK that has 1600 beds and sees 10,000 pateints daily has merly 10 beds emergency department!!!

why because no ventilator etc meaning most patient die nearly 30 patient die every day one every hour because of this.

If it materializes than good for KP province the province certainly needs better health care and hospitals.

The sad reality is that Nawaz sharif will soon be picking a PMLN governor for KPK. And than they will be taking credit for every development there because federal government always initiates projects even if they have little or no power in the said province. PMLN will be initiating massive projects near election days in KPK. Wait and watch
