Nawaz Sharif vows to quash militant wings of political parties

KARACHI, May 2 (APP): PML Chief, Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said if voted to power ,his party will quash the militant wings of political parties that have been identified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Talking to media at the Quaid- e- Azam International Airport, Karachi, on his way to Thatta to address a public meeting, he said parties presently complaining of being targeted by terrorists largely failed to perform when in power. PML (N) Chief said these parties are looking for excuses to avoid what is written large around them.

Nawaz Sharif dispelled the impression that it were only three major parties that are bearing the brunt of extremists’ elements and mentioned that the President of PML (N), Balochistan, and the procession led by him also came under attack.
“He also lost his close relatives in this attack,” said Nawaz Sharif.
Expressing his confidence that his party will clinch no less than 170 seats and would form its government, Nawaz Sharif said PML (N) will equally focus on development of all areas of the country.
In reply to a question, he said whether the citizens of Karachi vote for PML or not, but it comes to power,it will bring back the lost lights of Karachi.
“We will restore its peace and glory,” said Nawaz Sharif.
He claimed that an under-ground railway system will be built in the metropolis besides linking Karachi and Lahore through through a motorway.
