PML-N stages failed political show: PTI

LAHORE, Nov 20 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), despite using all government resources, has failed to attract public to its show of political strength at Faisalabad. Taking to APP here Sunday, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Punjab President Ahsan Rasheed said that PML-N was fast loosing its popularity and credibility, which was a clear manifestation of people’s will about a positive change.

To a question, he said, though PML-N has the prerogative to hold its political activities/public meetings, it must not be at the cost of public exchequer.

It is highly injustice with the people of Punjab, who pay taxes for everything, but unfortunately, the PML-N is utilizing this money on its luxuries and political gains, he said, citing, “Public taxes must be spent on the people’s welfare and not on their (N-Leaguers) personal interests.”

Ahsan Rasheed said that today’s PML-N gathering was more an officials than a public meeting and this situation should be an eye-opener for the N-League that people are now well aware and do not pay any heed to mere hollow slogans of their well-being, but want something practical for their betterment.

He added that PTI had given the people of Pakistan, a ray of hope, change and revolution that could lead them to be at par with the developed nations.

The PTI Punjab President claimed that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf would clean sweep in the next general election.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that looters and plunderers have pushed the country to the verge of a disaster by misappropriating trillions of rupees and it is time to bring them to book and recover the looted money for getting rid of poverty and unemployment and slavery.

He said the nation would have to make a pledge to free itself from plunderers and dacoits for development and prosperity. He said a revolution could be brought about through provision of interest-free loans and the Punjab government, with the collaboration of Akhuwat, was starting the project of providing interest-free loans worth one billion rupees to enable the skilled youth earn their livelihood.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the project of provision of interest-free loans for the elimination of poverty and unemployment at Masjid Darbar, Shah Jamal, here on Thursday.

The chief minister said Akhuwat was playing an effective role in the elimination of poverty and unemployment and provided loans of more than Rs1.25 billion to the deserving families during the last 10 years.

He said the interest-free loans of Rs 1 billion would be provided this year while the amount for the purpose would be increased next year. He said the loans were being given to the skilled youth.

He said the Islamic teachings and philosophy also stressed an equitable distribution of resources and provision of interest-free loans was an important step in that direction, adding that equitable distribution of resources was the mission of his party. COMPOSITION OF PML-N JALSA IN FAISLABAD:

Patwaris (3 buses each): 400 x 150 = 60,000

not independent:blah::blah::blah:

PML-N will not win the next elections. Its a fact. So just give up. Your ganja leader can hire as much labor workers he wants to attend these jalsas, it wont make a difference. Can you see the establishment accepting Nawaz as their leader again? Especially after he was thrown out in 1999. Never. And we know military is the strongest institution in Pakistan. They will not accept PPP either anymore after the Zardari/Hussain Haqqani scandal. So that just leaves PTI.

Imran Khan has upped the stakes, & Nawaz Sharif is under pressure to act likewise.

Ganja paid 20,000 of his labor workers to attend his jalsa in Faisalabad. PML-N Pervaiz Rasheed claimed weeks ago that this Nawaz's jalsa in Faialabad would be the biggest in history :lol:

Imran Khan's Minar-e-Pakistan Jalsa had more than 200,000 people and Imran Khan's Faisalabad Jalsa had more than 50,000 people.
