I heard it has been cancelled ? anyone knows about this news ??

secondly whose call was it that Nawaz sharif received on stage, which made him go bhegi billi? was it again the Saudis in whose hands Nawaz's string are ? was that call the reason to cancel the gujarawala jalsa ??

I read in an article this morning about this mysterious call and caller.

kindly share thoughts and any piece of information regarding it.

.
Would you please share some source on that "call" news? If our politics is controlled or guided by any outsider, it is worse for us. And who ever gets influenced by any force outside our country or outside our political sphere should be wiped out, through ballot.

School students forced to attend PML-N rally

GUJRANWALA: Government school students in Gujranwala were forced to take part in the rally held by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday Express 24/7 reported.

In order to make the rally at Jinnah Stadium a success, the local administration ordered the heads of all government schools to send students of grades 8, 9 and 10 to the rally, but not dressed in their uniforms. However, the plan was accidentally exposed when a large number of students reached the rally in their school uniforms.

According to Express 24/7 reporter Rabia Mehmood, teachers with banners from the Muslim Teacher Association were also present at the rally, which was likely affiliated with the PML-N.

Students told reporters that they were asked by the school to attend the rally after changing out of their uniforms at home, but most of them reached the venue directly without changing. They added that school administrators threatened to mark students absent if they did not attend the rally. They also complained that they were not properly looked after and there were no arrangements either for food, drinks or security at the rally.

According to reports, heads of schools said that they were not threatened to take this step. PML-N leaders addressing the rally said they had no idea about this plan. The District Coordination Officer (DCO) could not be reached for comments.

The PML-N had earlier claimed that the rally would have more than 25,000 participants and would be led by former federal minister Ghulam Dastgir and his son Khurram Dastgir.

This rally was reported to be a part of the preparation for a grand rally on November 25.

PML-N rifts, not memo, cost rally in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA - Internal rifts among the divisional leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and not the memo controversy, forced the party’s central leadership to cancel its rally in Gujranwala scheduled for Friday (today), sources told Pakistan Today on Thursday.

PML-N sources told Pakistan Today that the party’s central leadership was unhappy with the divisional leadership for not contacting the people even in the final days before the rally — something which forced the top leadership to reconsider its plan of holding the public gathering. The sources said that millions of rupees were spent on the rally’s advertisement campaign and several meetings had been organised to plan the arrangements, however a lack of collaboration between the central and local leaderships resulted in the cancellation of the rally.

The PML-N’s central leadership, including Hamza Shahbaz and Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Rana Mashhood, made recurrent visits to Gujranwala to check the arrangements, but rifts within the local leaders became an obstacle.

Sources further revealed that the PML-N collected Rs 500,000 from each of its national and provincial legislator from Gujranwala Division for the rally. However, all local party leaders tried take a lead over others by spending more on advertising their posters, instead of gathering people and finalising the arrangements. Malik Shakeel, a trader and activist of the PML-N, said the party’s supporters were looking forward to welcoming Nawaz Sharif but the cancellation of the rally had disappointed them.

A party statement issued on Wednesday said the new date for the public gathering in Gujranwala would be announced after Muharram. According to the statement, the memo issue was of sensitive nature and hence, it could not be left on just rallies and processions.

Punjab government spokesman Senator Pervaiz Rasheed had earlier told Pakistan Today that the PML-N had filed a petition over the issue in the Supreme Court and the party could not hold gatherings during the hearing of such an important case.
