Our frigates are updated with the latest Radar and EW suite, some of the old frigat are armed with ESSM. Our Fast attack crafts are wel armed too and they will next decade replaced with new one. Fully domestic systems and weapons. We will full the gap between Israel technology in the coming decade, so then we will be real strong.

right at this moment your Navy is most powerful in Mediterranean followed by Greece and Egypt .

In addition, 6 of 8 Turkish corvettes are ex-French D'Estienne d'Orves-class A69 type 'Avisos', which have limited anti ship valie and lack air defences. i.e good for coastal anti-submarine defense and ocean escort missions only.

Then again:

• 7 of 9 Hellenic navy Elli frigates are ex-Dutch navy ships
• 4 of Egypt's frigates are ex-USN OHPs, and 2 are even older ex-USN Knox class. Also, 2 are very obsolete Chinese Jianghu IIs and 2 ex-Yugoslave navy Russian/Soviet Koni class ships.

Turkey's ongoing projects promises incredible superior capabilities against any country in East Mediterraean !



LHD project officially commenced. First payment are done ! Project aims to construct at least 1 Navantia designed Juan Carloss LHD in Sedef shipyard !

First U-214TN welding ceremony is also done ! Totally 6 U-214TN with around %80 national contribution will be constructed.

I class frigate design is finalized. Production of first I class will be commenced around 2017-18.
4 Milgem + 8 I class is planned to be constructed.

16 Atmaca SSM(250km range), 16 cell MK-41 launchers with ESSM-Block-2 + Hisar missiles, CIWS, Hizir Torpedo defence system, 250km range smart-S mk-2 radar with Aselsan T/R modules.

7000t TF-2000 AAW design is in final phase. CAFRAD design will just have some changes on production phase. The general design of hull will be more or less like related image. It is going to change all power balance of region thanks to sensor + missiles.

Around 1000km diameter search&tracking range, 900km diameter IFF range, Hundreds of km Electronic attack capabilities, 250km Atmaca anti-ship missiles, 180km range SM-2 Block-IV missiles, Active 48 MK-41 launchers, Gezgin LACM launch capabilities (1000+km)

140m amphibious landing ship called Bayraktar is launched by Adik shipyard in recent days. She has an impressive tank and armoured vehicle carriage capacity !

Third Milgem will be launched into sea in 2016.

Final ship of project called TCSG Yaşam that was constructed by RMK Marine is handed over to crew.
